Combination of stimulants, overtraining and under eating can lead to a catastrophic shutdown of metabolism. Problem is that there is a lot of noise out there and it is very misleading. We need to be aware of the fact that not all the products being promoted will do you any favors. So what to do?
1. Educate yourself! Don’t get distracted by the millions spent on marketing. Focus on the bio-availability of the ingredients
2. Understand what supplement endorsements are as opposed to years of consistent hard work. Yes it’s true supplements if formulated and manufactured using high quality ingredients can have a profound impact on muscle recovery, growth and power output.
3. Use common sense. If a female fitness model’s but goes from zero to Nicki Minaj in a couple of months and she has no hamstrings, it screams implants. If a dude is massively huge and shredded 24/7 all year round chances are it’s not just because of the exercise.
4. Get your head in the game for the long haul! Bill gates didn’t take a single day off in his 20’s. Anything in life worth having takes time to build and needs to be worked at day after day for years. Don’t look at your body goals in terms of what you can get done in six weeks. Have a plan to turn that four weeks into four months and then four years. That’s how greatness is achieved!
